muffler
Depends on what you have for tools. If you have a sawzall to cut the stock one off then put the new one on with band clamps and some good straps it will be sufficient. If you go with a dynomax cat back kit it will be much easier and more professional and much better quality..

So you want the shop to just install a muffler? Are you still going to use the stock exhaust piping?
If you are getting a new cat-back system (new piping from the last cat all the way to the tips) then $150 isnt a bad deal.
BUT, just to install a muffler, thats pricey.

I think there was either a mis-communication, or the shop's prices are really steep.

Call the shop again and ask how much it would be to ONLY replace the muffler. Tell them that you want to keep all the stock piping.
