any thing up to an 2010 front end will almost bolt directly on. once you put the 98+ core support in, it's pretty much bolt on.

Once you have the newer radiator core support, yes it will bolt up. Until then, no

Speaking of conversions, sorry to thread jack but comparing the mazda to the ford front end, i would much rather have me the ford headlights and grille, are the parts pretty much interchangeable for the same year ranges and do the fenders and everything have to be swapped?

same deal, find a newer ranger radiator core support and you are well on your way

Actually aren't the fenders slightly different?

i think so, right where the turn signal lights are. i remember seeing someone that swapped form one to the other and that topic came up. one is slightly more curved or something.

98+ cores are the same but each year bracket (98-00, 01-03, 04-05, 06+) has different hoods, header panels, bumpers, headlights, signal lights, grilles, and fenders. Some parts interchange year to year, like headlights.
