Do you see the 2 bolts in the second pic?? Those are the mounts. Do you want to see closer pics??

Ah i see it, what about down at the skid plate? it bolt to the k-member? Just seems like it wouldn't be all that strong with just those two bolts though? Which isn't a huge concern really, unless you nail the hell out of something.

What do you have in mind for a recovery point? just the tubes??

They welded like a 2'' x 2'' x 0.5'' piece of steel onto the frame (one on left & one on the right). There are 2 holes per plate. So there are actually 4 bolts (but you can only see 2). But nothing is attached at the bottom. Yeah, i guess it could be stronger but oh well. And the recovery point is those same welded pieces of steel (the mounts). They have a hole in them where i can attach a chain, strap, etc.

I know this is an older thread but I was wondering if you could get a closeup of the mount for the pre-runner bumper.

How’s it holding up ?

Nice setup.

Thanks

One more thing who made it for you ?

The bumpers holding up great. The only problems with the bumper is that chicks want a piece of me now. Hahaha. . . . j/k. I got it done at a shop in San Luis, Mexico (South of Yuma, AZ).

Maybe you can mount something to the crossmember. Good luck, and once you get the ball rolling make sure you post some pics!!!

Have you thought of a winch in front or no need.
I was thinking of mounting a winch mount as close in to the radiator as possible and attach the mount underside down to keep it a little higher and out of the way while leaving the OEM upper bumper in-place.
Then build around the winch mount with something similar to your but not exactly.
Your bumper has inspired me to create something different but good looking as yours turned out.
