Looks good man. I got a big hunk of steel I plan on using to make some skids someday. Probably be a while though. I'm pretty lazy as of late.

No it's a gusset for the side of the skid near the t-case... Extra support... Might as well!

no use on an automatic is there? lol. i like custom mods. did you just take the stock one off to get measurements or howd you do it?

only skid i know that beefier than that would be camodowns front skid plate, it weighs like 70 pounds! looks good, im sure ill bust my t-case skid eventually and need to do something like this.

did you solid weld the gaps on the underside then grind them down and just stagger the topside that you wont see when the plate is installed for strength? i could build one like this if i had the pieces cut for me, dont have a plasma or oxyaccetylene to cut. learned alot in my 3 highschool welding classes. ill shoot you a pm
