1/2" may be a little over kill.. but for $15 more its not too bad.

 

Read what you just typed. Nothing is over kill. And for $15 how can you go wrong?

 

1/2" all the way. U joints and a good shaft are worth the protection.

 

bah, there's no way to see how much the shipping is from DIY..


and at school i use a Miller 350P every day which is capable of much more than 3/8" so welding is no issue..

Its 57 shipped with the 5% discount from ballistic... BUT on the other hand, ball sack SUCKS at shipping in a decent amount of time.

too bad those "ripper" rings wouldn't hold up the first time you stuck those wheels into a rock. haha besides that they're pretty cool, check out Great Lakes Offroad, they have a ton of sweet *** bead locks..

 

Check ou the one from ORW bought this one for my old project and it saved me soooo many times. I even added tabs to the back for more support to the skid.
