Outstanding piece of kit man, one question however, would this winch mount fit on a 2008 sport 4x4?

 

by chance does anyone have the plans for this winch mount. i know it is a long shot but i thought i would ask

i have one of those sitting in my garage.. all boxed it

..just needs the 2 pieces of angle iron to hold the fair lead.

 

i just pickup up a winch this past weekend. has anyone had any luck with this?? i havent been able to find many pics of this or any reveiws on how it has held up

 

I had this mount on my 99 for three years and it worked out perfectly.

A few years ago a guy in a 1500 Chevy 4x4 Ex-cab was stuck in a creek bed and I had to drive down in the creek to hook to him. I had to run a strap from my rear hitch to a tree up on the edge of the creek to anchor my truck. While pulling him out all four of my tires came off the creek bed and were completely out of the water! So I would say its pretty strong.

 

How did I miss this! Heck yes!

 

only one have installed pics of this??? My only down fall is i cant weld... And the instructions arent too easy to follow.... Mybe its just b/c i woke up idk lol

i just need to get off my butt and drill all the holes in mine. than i can put it on

 

hopefully i dont have any work to do tonight so i can build my mount while on the clock at work tonight. i got all the materials together and cut the fairlead mount out on the mill last night. maybe get it finished up tonight.
