my light bar (UPDATE Post #5)

tabs coming from the bumper bolts are 1/4" steel
the tubeing is 7/8" crome molly bent with a conduit bender.
tabs for lights are 1/4" steel
all tig welded.
primered gray and painted with rustolem gloss black.

hmmm clean small works i like it...

edit... you have a 4.0L reg cab... i hate you... and manual... bastard lift it and run 33's already...

send me like 4grand so i can do what im planning to do with it......work is too slow at the moment to take out a personal loan with my credit union......otherwise it would be lifted.

Update!

got it all installed and went for a little drive...... i blinded about 3 cotton tails. they had the look "OMFG!!!!! its bright!!!!......RUN!!!!"

low beams


high beams


high beams with aux lights






high beams and aux


looking over chatsworth, CA


dark street low beams


dark street high beams and aux


crappy vid but it starts at low beams, high beams, ends with high beams and aux.


yes my low and high beams suck.......

The comparison between the "dark street low beams" and "dark street high beams and aux" picture is impressive. It reminds me of comparison pictures between HIDS versus stock bulbs.

Nice work.

santiago trail broke like all but 2 tacks i had on the bar...... im glad i used 1/4" steel for the bumper tabs, the lights do not viberate very easy.
