roll bar guys help please

k i wanted to install the roll bar today but ran into a problem
its the gas tank cover on the bed, the hump. can i see pics on what you guys did to get around it

wtf mate. Do u have a fuel cell? Rollbars are inside the bed, nothin to hit.

A-Banger- hes talking about the area of the bed where the filler neck was clearanced in the box. The front d-side there is a small hump in front of the wheel well.

Justin- I think some folk just move it back, but that looks like walrus butt if you ask me. Do you have any pics of the mounts on the roll bar?

cut the mount turn in 90 degrees weld it b ack on. bolt it down

i think it would be cheaper/ easier to cut the rollbar mount and turn it. Might want to measure the mount and the space on the bed to make sure it will fit before you take it somewhere.

Im with those guys ^^...cut the mount off and then weld it back on, bolt her down and call it a day

ok i know what its doing cause i was doing the same in mike's truck bring it up here or me and mike can come down their and check it out.. because i thing cutting the mount is better cause you cant cut the bump out cause that is where your filler neck is at for your gas tank.... alright... but i think that you might have to bring it up here cause i cant bring all the tools and welder down their....

haha, i would if i had the welder. sounds like a cut and stick job is gonna work best.
