there is a few yellow/dsg trucks here, any FX4 that is yellow has DSG lower half. it actually looks pretty good i must say. red/yellow not so good though, makes me want a hot dog with ketchup and mustard

The spare tire carrier is a structual point and shouldn't be removed.

i looked and figured it was, so my option is either remove it an put a cross member in, or just cut a section out for the bumper to fit properly, probably going to end up doing that though.

lazler, no photoshop this morning, got home at 7:54 am so bed time for me!
maybe sometime this weekend i'll mess around with it.

can't wait to get up! 7 hours til the work begins.

the tubing is 2"x2"x1/4". the quarter inch wall is probably a bit overkill, but oh well, its gonig to be used for winching and crap when i get one so i wanted to make sure it was strong. what other specs did you want?

i was looking at it, mudranger96 has it, but you lose use of your bed completely. so i'm not down for that. i still want to be able to use my bed, and throw a matress in it to camp or go to the drive in or something. im buying or making a tire gate.
clicky
i love them, they have different styles (horizontal mount, verticle mount, prerunner style which is what i want) they're cool.
they are about a grand to buy, but i can probably have one made for a third of that.
