Hey i cant really tell how strong it is without running into you with my truck....but if you put a brace from the ends of the bumper it would help if you were hit from the side. Otherwise wouldn't they bend easily?

But its still badass. I'll take 1, $200 bucks.

i thought about bracin the ends more, but a downward brace would decrease ground clearence and entry angle.
the brace from the light hoop comes down directly into the bend on the main hoop. this will help re-enforce that bend.
hopefully no one will be runnin into it to test my theory....

would take away from the entry angle, and you would need to remove the half sphere from the bumper bracket to get enough clearence for a good fit. interesting though.

the section under the left headlight got busted in a stock bumper vs. guardrail battle. the stock bumper lost...
i wouldnt worry much about the entry angle...

bumper looks great man, nice work!

How much would you say that it cost in material to make it? Not counting labor and what not. I'd really like one of these.

i probly only have $50 in the materials, but i get a discount, and use alot of old scrap pieces i dont get charged for.
to buy all fresh material, there is probly $125 worth of chro-moly there, but if i was buyin all new steel, id probly only use mild steel. chro-moloy is a lil overkill for a bumper, IMO...

What size tubing is that if you don't mind me asking? I'm thinking about attempting to fab something up for mine and just wondering for references purposes.
