Traction bars (round 2)

You can Shane! I'll cut you some brackets this week... And for those who are interested... I can cut all sizes... 7.5in axles, 8.8 28 spline axles and 8.8 31 spline axles... And I can even make some 9in brackets (Matt lol)...
So stoked the way they turned out! Couldn't be happier with what I learned and what other people thought of them... I had a friends dad look at them tonight, and he's never really said good work to me, partly cuz i've always owned a ford... But looked at them and was explained the concept of how that style works, and he even said, wow, that's really good work... So it felt good to hear it.
Kyle, I can tell you right now, you have a pretty good amount of wrap, just feeling what mine feels like with the bar, and remembering what it feels like without it... You'll want some when you drive the truck. I'll let you drive it if you wanna see what I mean.

Well only thing I can sell really is the bars and the brackets... Maybe the tubing for the top mounts... But That kit I can sell on here. Donate the money to my ITS fund for school which funds new machines and steel and such... Something I have to attend a meeting for every wednesday.
If people are interested... I can start selling almost complete kits... Welding is necessary, but I can include the mounts (both the axle mounts and the upper mount I used), shackle, bolts for all and the bars at the lengths... You would need to cope the tubes, weld on sleeves with bushings, or run heims, and weld up the mounts at both ends. I can't really do that for you guys lol
Let me know if these are something you guys are interested in!

and its not only wheel hop, its to control the axle from wanting to turn into a top loader, in turn breaking drive shafts, u joints, axle housings, yokes etc. I haven't had much issue on the muddy/dirt trails i've been running recently but on the street i can feel it moving, and i know the Granite of Katemcy is gonna kill me.

with a 3.0, 5.13's, 37's and a manual you can only do so much with the skinny pedal, squirrels/gerbils can only do so much! Only vib I get is in the drive train, don't think I have the tranny bolted down tight enough, used poly bushings instead of rubber for the mount and believe i left it too loose!!!

Yeah I was talking with shane about the ruff stuff brackets and being 8in on center with the mounting holes on the axle, and neither one of us could come up with a really good reason as of why, other than positioning for the front mount, and being flat like beards. I really don't see a reason why one is better than the other. Both serve the purpose they're designed for...
And like Zach said.... I didn't realize it was as bad as it was when I put them on.... You can really feel the power being planted... Not that I have much power, but hey, you can still feel it!
I'll do $30 plus shipping on the axle tubing brackets for 3/8in plate... $40 plus shipping on the same brackets in 1/2in plate.. And those wanting to have the tube cut and shipped in pieces we can talk and work out a price.
Probably my best fabrication mod yet.. And mod that's shown the biggest improvement!

only thing i think is why use the extra material to go around the backside of the axle tube and loose clearance on the bottom of the axle tube.
maybe try a bracket on the front. and on newer revisions make the spacing further apart.

I had them on the front, but the heims kept hitting the bracket, so I put them from the back side to have the most clearance.
On ones that I'll be selling, I'll go ahead and make the spacing on a 7in center. Just an inch over mine. Still... I really wanna test out the flex, and see what she does!
