i havent seen anyone around here with a diamond plate prerunner skid. i know people have diamond skids on here tho

im gonna make it this weekend, any comments/ideas,etc?

id make the base of it a lil wider to protect the radiator more.

ive had a few ppl tell my ill need to cut some holes in the skid for cooling. what do u guys think?

 

I don't think you need some holes for cooling. If it's going to be the same size front plate as the one you posted above your truck you'll be fine. Think of how much a stock bumper covers up compared to that skinny plate on the front.

 

I think it might look good with some holes, whether they're for performance or not.. My .02

 

how much did that diamond plate cost ya? i may go that route instead of aluminum...
or just go with my idea and find a stop sign haha

I'm going to build a similar one when my bodylift and superlift get put on. And you better believe I still aint gonna run a valence. lol.

 

Prerunners are so badass, I would love to have mine all prerunner style but it would be even more pointless then my lifted 2wd here in S. Florida. Nice truck, get pictures of it installed.

im gonna wait on the long travel. my truck is my daily driver right now, and if i bought long travel, id be more tempted to thrash it. in 2 years or so ill have another truck to tow this one.
