it doesnt matter if the bars are bent on his truck its a fact that a straight tube is stronger then a bent one.

steering is pretty thick.

Well, I think that stuff they use to go under tile would be better -- heavier duty maybe.

Personally, I prefer plywood if you use pressure treated so you can do water crossings.

(okay, that was mean, lol...)

I'll be running stock F-150 drag-link and tie-rod to start, but I'm going to get the 1 ton stuff like Scott when I get the high-steer spindles machined and get some arms for it. I have the spindles, but I'm going with the stock F-150 setup to start.

Ditto on using the track bar as well. Since I'm running only 4" lift springs, it shouldn't be too bad to start.

I want radius arms like yours though, lol.

im sure as long as he keep's some sort of an eye on them, they arent that scary at all, and will be fine for the life of the truck.. been there, done it, and see it before regular street rig's like rob's with 44's+ and huge blocks on the front, no trac bar front or rear just blasting through mud pits- sure it had axle wrap but what truck doesnt w/ out the traction bars.. i cant wait to see what ppl say bout my sas
