i have never heard of a flush tool. is it one of those things were you hook a hose up to it and flush the system out with water??

I would just drain the Rad, the overflow and as much as you can get out of the block and refill then burp the system and call it a day.

yea, fill it up with water full of minerals and crap! ftw!

sorry but i just run distilled water. Hose water is only if i'm in a jam, then i'll flush it out later. It's too harsh, atleast here in the desert.

If you mean the capped T that installs inline to your heater core line, then YES, I have one installed on the Ranger. I've installed one on every vehicle I've owned. You may only need to use it once or twice, but it sure is handy. Just unhook the lower radiator hose, hook up the garden hose to the newly installed T, and flush. You can have the vehicle running with the heater on to help flush EVERYTHING. You'll be amazed at all the crud that comes out of a properly flushed system. Even the best maintained systems get build up over time.
I recommend it!!
