3" Straight through...

I was wondering if anyone knows of a 3" straight through muffler? I don't want glss packs on the thing. The magnaflows and flowmasters are all chambered, right?

Borla is straight through. I know Flowmaster is chambered and I don't know about the others. IMHO 3" is way too big you'll lose a good bit of backpressure and grunt if you go with exhaust pipes that big. I had 2.5" pipes and there was a noticable loss.

My Magnaflow is straight through...

Dynomax has probably the best straight through mufflers at an affordible price w/o getting a glassback. I had one on my ranger in it's second exhaust system. They run about $80 or so from summit. I had the Ultra-Flo oval. Hell they have ultra-flos up to 5"!!

My Borla was like $65 shipped off of eBay, and I'd take a name brand Borla over Dynomax anyday!

I like the Borla exhaust, I've never really heard a serious complaint on their systems. 3" is perfect for me, I'm runnning a large t-3 turbo on a built 2.3 with 15psi on the street. I know about the back pressure and all, but if you running a turbo you want the back pressure BEFORE the exhaust gets to it, then you want it out as quickly as possible, helps with spooling and higher pressure.

Check out Borla's website for a 3" muffler. Im not sure on the sizes they have, but would'nt 2.5" be alright too?
