ok yesterday i was working on the new mazdaspeed mazda3 the awd 2.3duratec tuurbo motor so i was wonder for you guys with the duratec if you would beable to swap the mazda pistons and stuff with the ranger parts???
the stock mazdas make like 260bhp so it would be a nice upgrade

from what I know, and it ain't much, the difference between the mazda 2.3 and the ranger 2.3 is the intake and exhaust manifolds, and I think the mazdas have VVT. Pistons, rods and cranks should swap. I don't know if the turbo manifold will work on a ranger though.
