Question about Injectors.....

I plan on running a rear turbo system pushin 6psi. I was wondering if the stock injectors which I believe are 19 lbs, correct me if im wrong...would handle 6lbs of boost. If not, are there 24lb injectors or would i have to go up to 30 lb injectors.....

Thanks

There are 24lb. injectors available. I would recommend running those or the 30lb.

Contact me for a sweet deal on Ford Racing injectors: Nicholas@ttperformanceinc.com

The injectors used in 3.0 Flex-fuel are 25 pound injectors. Pretty easy to get I think. Real easy for me since mine is one...

Matt, I would install the system and take it to Livernois. Have a pre-purchased set of 30s on hand *in case* it's determined your out of injector. That way you could get it tuned right, spend less, and not be guessing about the whole issue. If you just went with 30s up front you could up the boost a bit to 7-8psi and just pour the fuel on to help bring the EGTs in line.

BTW: I'm in Howell & Plymouth daily.

Yea, I wouldn't run less then 30# Injectors...I have a Whipple on mine and running 30# and hitting like 5-6lbs of boost...Threw on a smaller pulley and engine started like it was choking on something really bad, took it off and it was fine..
