exactly that turd was more towards 4k too..not worth what it put out at all..and on top of that whipple wasnt a very good company to deal with and seemed to have got'n shady with there 3.0 S/C. and tech support was a *****

which is why we would love to see a company step up and take over for the 3.0 ranger motor. it has plenty of potential

Is this thread just another candle that burnt out? Or is this guy still trying to put together a kit for our trucks, I'm looking to find one, or atleast partial kits to start a build on my SOHC 4.0

Now you are talkin bout poss. makin the turbo/ sc for the 4.0, but which one? OHV, or SOHC? I have the OHV, and i want more power than i have now, and i think that doing this would be cheaper than swapping in a 5.0. plus keep the resale value somewhat good.

 

I hear all y'all V-6 Guys out there, But I have a 2.3 Duratec and I want a kit for the ranger. Focusport claims 241hp with 12psi on stock internals, but the focus kits out there just don't cut it. I'm over here in Dallas, but I'd be willing to drive out there for a good deal.
