that valance is there for MPG so they say, only Job 1s had the smaller valance.
blah, whatever!
.
i completely agree, that is hot. love it. i love that whole setup minus the grille.which i dont mind, i just like what i have.
uh, no not really. working on it again this weekend if the parts come in. hopefully some good results.
replacing...
timing cover
oil cooler
water pump
radiator
radiator hoses
whatever else i can think up. lol
oh how i wish...
ha whatever, the 5.9 is getting old. plus rolling coal is so old school. its actually horrible for the engine, mpg, wasted power, you name it. Only reason someone should roll coal is if they are in competition aka sled pulls or drag racing. Where you need to supply as much fuel as you possibly can.

It didn't use to bother me much before, until I moved here. And TONS of people here run smoke tunes on their daily drivers, blowing blinding clouds of black smoke at every intersection and even cruising down the highway. Retarded.

yeah smoke is fun. but it really doesnt do anything for me. there are guys that do it all the time around here and i hate it. i mean its fun ti rev it up and puff out a small amount or something like that but I dont care for it. Right now my truck is stuck in the 250hp tune which runs a little dirty. If those morons from Drew technologies ever send my tuner back i might get it back to a clean 210 tune.

Shane are you talking about a 6.7 Cummins? They are very mean Engines to say the least and 5.9Ls are a proven engine as well.
Ryan is talking about a the 2011 6.7 in the fords i believe.

I agree Zach and Brian. I know my 7.3 runs horribly dirty with my 140 tune but i can't tell you the last time I have turned it out of my 80 economy tune. Smoke is fun once in a while. But not every single stoplight to stoplight or just dumping it on people.

And rolling coal is kinda asswholelish if you ask me. Yeah everyone enjoys its sometimes but it shouldn't be done all the time IMO. Not to mention all that black smoke sure gives the gov a good reason to put even tighter restrictions on diesel engines.

Zach- these trucks get tall in a hurry!
Mine is 6'11" with just the ICON 2.5" leveling system and 35" tires. It's something to consider if you ever have to park in a parking garage/go to a nice hotel/airport parking. Many car washes are 7' Clearance. It's just one more thing to consider in a bigger city with a lifted Super Duty, but it's a way of life. The length is manageable in the city as is the width of these trucks as you know by now. But the height is what it is.
You don't notice the height in small towns and open parking lots at all. I mean, seriously, this isn't a big truck...
]
Until you park next to a normal vehicle.
This is my truck next to a 2wd 1/2 ton Chevy on factory tires. You guys know that these trucks are sometimes lower than a Ranger!
And speaking of which, my barber has a newer Ranger Sport I parked next to:
Bottom line: 35s fit stock on the newer Super Dutys. Leveling kit should keep you right at 7' tall and still do-able for most 5th wheel/gooseneck trailers. I wouldn't go too much bigger in lift, unless you're secretly wanting to run something a little bigger than 35" tires....... haha

I think you should do a bit more lift and 37's. I sorta compare the thought process to my Bronco. I didn't have enough funds to do it right, so I bought a leveling kit and 33's. It looked and felt great for a few months, but after that I kept thinking I shoulda saved more and went with a 6 inch and 35's.
Superduty's need minimum 35's, in my opinion. 37's are a perfect size for them.
I think rollin coal is sweet as hell. But I do agree, if I had a high tuned diesel, I wouldn't want to smoke it out at every light. You can only do it once in awhile to keep it fun.
Fvck I want a diesel...
