Bought a new truck!

I've been looking for a diesel lately and ran across this truck in Texas. My Uncle lives down there so I had him check it out for me. It's a 2001 F250 4x4 7.3 automatic CCSB with 106k miles on it. Here's some pictures from the for sale ad. I'm going to pick it up this weekend!

4" turbo back, 6637 filter, custom chip, valve body and new fluids all-round and she'll be a whole new truck. More pics!

Already planned the 6637 filter. I don't really think I want more power out of it. I want an exhaust but i'm not sure what to go with. Which exhaust would you recommend? I'm driving it home from TX to NC so it'll get new fluids when I get home.

I really like my MBRP system, fits great and sounds great with virtually no interior drone.

Got my system from here (http://performancetruckproducts.com/), not sure if they still have the lowest prices on the kits or not, they were when I ordered mine.

You'll get a chip soon or later, the added power and fuel mileage was soo worth it for me, epscially at only $400.

Also, get gauges!

That was my next question...gauges or programmer...I just joined powerstroke.org and PSN. I've been reading for the past few hours.

Here's a link with more pictures as well: http://my.autorevo.com/revo/Viewers/...7&PID=34833494

Thanks, I can tell this truck is going to be expensive! I'm going to do the 6637 mod and probably the CCV mod then do gauges and the AIH delete then exhaust. RiffRaff has a package deal with gauges and the AIH plug for $488. Can't wait to bring it home!

Is it the AIH delete with the boost line/gauge port? Wish I would have done that instead of tapping my intake spider.

No joke! I just bought oil and the oil filter for it so I can change it when I get it home. $68.44!!! I'm going to stop by the dealership at pick up a new fuel filter. By the time i'm done buying all this **** for it I won't have any money to mod it!

By the way, which do you guys prefer? PS.org or PSN? Just curious? I've had a hard time keeping up with threads on PSN...

I really like them both. I find myself browsing the org more often though. I know when PSN sold out a lot of the guys jumped ship and went over to powerstrokearmy.com.

Speaking of CCV mods I need to get one of those for my 6.0, and the fuel pressure add on for my insight, and an EGR delete, and some new coolant, and....Well you get the idea haha. Gotta love diesels!

I did, just used 3/4" heater hose and some fittings to dump it out by the rear axle. No more oily boosts!
