My "new" 79 Bronco
Here is my new (to me) 79 Bronco I just picked up. 315M C6 205 two owner 78k miles.
It is in need of a little TLC from 35 years of negect (fuel filler, passenger floor pan, headliner, blah blah). This will be one of my slower moving projects since i just bought a house and i had to make a promise that the house would come before the Bronco.
Also, this thing has tan high backed cloth bucket seats with an arm rest on either side of the seat. Factory? im not sure? It has a rubber floor and no center console so i really dont think they were factory, but the previous owner says they have been in the truck as long as he can recall, and he was friends with the original owner.

Worked on the Bronco a little this weekend. Including changing oil, fixing the spare tire carrier, taillights, rear window motor, radio, interior lights, the round headlight conversion and removing the rest of the smog vacuum lines. It is amazing to me some of the people that work on cars. The Bronco was "professionally maintained" by a local mechanic, yet there were 4 open vacuum ports on the intake, an FL400S oil filter installed, the speaker wires were twisted together with no solder or tape, and the taillights had 1157 amber bulbs in them...facepalm...

soo...the bronco is under the knife...the Justin style obnoxious 70's restoration is underway.
Im starting with the interior on this one, because it needed the most attention. Then all the brake components (master, booster, hard lines, soft lines, calipers, rotors, drums, shoes, hardware) will require replacement because the brake lines have been spliced into using copper compression fittings. After that will be a 4" kit, 35's on Western Wheel period correct turbines. If i still have a bank account after that, ill start building a 408 (400M) or 433 stroker for it. I already have the engine for the build.
Interior before
Wheels and tires. Wheels will be refinished by Detroit Vintage Wheel prior to installation.
Ready to go under the knife
Interior coming out

The fun begins

Long story, but it got an aftermarket head unit
Tilt column installed
Wheeled out door jambs and inside of door
Carpet
Seats and new console in for test fit
New sill plates and weatherstrip
New pedals

I was really surprised when i removed the rubber mat and what i found. I knew the driver and passenger front floors needed work, but as i rolled up the vinyl floor, i also rolled up the steel. Those vinyl floors hold alot of moisture and cause rust...thats why every vehicle i have ever owned with a vinyl floor, i remove it once a year to clean and make sure there are no problems
