I was thinking about this, and id say you have it too good already! Since you were married you have SAS'd the ranger, bought a F150, bought a F250, now bought a Superduty, I have a feeling she will cave and let you spend some money on it. :)

Well. I actually bought the F150 before I was married, and the F350 was something SHE wanted first lol. She did already cave to a coolant filter though. I'll have to do some more sweet talking for any more stuff lol.

Here's a few more pictures of the truck after some Sunday TLC, not that it needed much lol.

I raised the tailpipe back up, it had a drop bracket to clear the fifth wheel brackets thats why it hung so low. Also spent an hour or so cleaning and conditioning the leather. I used the lexol ph cleaner and lexol conditioner. It made a huge difference on the front seats, didn't do the back two yet. I wouldn't say it made the leather look new again, but I'm confident that with a couple more treatments we'll be real damn close.

I spy a crossbow!

Truck looks great! Was that some sort of stain in the leather, or just where the leather conditioner hasn't soaked in yet? Looks like it is almost gone in the second picture.

Yes the wheels aren't my favorite either but they're staying. They are 18" KR edition wheels, as far as I know they're the standard KR wheel of 2005 but I believe 20's were an option.

The first picture is what the seat looked like before I did anything to it. The second is after I did the cleaning and conditioning. My boss said that big stain came from sitting in the truck with a wet swim suit. The passenger seat was by far the worst looking seat in the truck so that's why I picked it for the before and after example. I'm pretty impressed with how much of the stuff disappeared.

Theres a company in Texas that a lot of guys go to that refinish them to new. I think they're around the Dallas area, the name is escaping me right now though.

Those came out great though, I would just stick to that unless your super **** about it.

Its called Color New in Austin, TX. Honestly I don't think I'm that worried about it. I'm pretty happy with the outcome and it looks much better than before. It should keep getting better with a few more treatments.

Man that is a good looking truck!

I always get really tempted by nice super duty diesels. It is just so hard to find a nice one that hasn't been abused, and I don't want to spend the money on repairs if there were engine problems.

Thanks. And you're right its pretty tough to find one. Usually around here they're either overpriced or they've got a ton of miles on them. I just wasn't willing to ditch my 70000 mile F150 for something with double the mileage.

I've got my fingers crossed on the repairs lol.

I tried that fingers crossed thing too. ha. Good luck though, I hope it lasts for you. I wish I would have just got a 6.0 because the costs are lower. All well.
