I wasn't hating which is why if you read what I said

Anyway it still looks badass and I'm not the one making the payments so more power to you. lol Looks sweet!
Obviously a high mileage F150 but it wouldn't matter because your would have to do a motor swap to make it comparable to the raptors 6.2L so the milage doesn't play a roll. It wasn't an argument I was stating a fact. And the raptor will not beat the pants off most everything offroad (at least where I'm from). Stock truck yes but that is a stupid argument because people don't buy stock trucks to beat on offroad.

I can afford and I do like it which is why I said I like it. I have been over it and I wasn't hating. Anyway stop ruining the thread if you want to discuss this then PM me. I have nothing more to say about it anyway. I said it was a nice truck.

Start with a older f150 like 200 or even a 2004 if you can find one cheap enough. And you could totally build one cheaper. But there would be no warranty and your probably not going to want to drive the built truck as a DD.

Welll I do belive his Engine ALONE cost 15,999 out the door, and then lets throw the Built Tranny into the Mix.

I'm all for building Trucks, Always have, but you can NOT build a 0 milage F150 for less with that Engine, sure you can take a lesser truck, with lesser Engine and Tranny, then put the same flares and suspension on it for cheaper, but then you go to sell it and you get 1/3rd what he will on resale, want an example, look at a 2003 GT Vert - 8900 everywhwere you look, now look at a 03 SVT Cobra VERT - CHEAPEST i've seen was 16,900 a few weeks ago, most are still going for 22-26k.

My post was also largely directed to the attitude of people in his other posts, so don't get your panties in a wad.

Again, if you read my post I was referring to brand new stock trucks when I said it would beat the pants off of most everything else off road. And who says people don't buy stock trucks to take them off road? That is the purpose of trucks like the Raptor, Power Wagon, etc.

Oh I have some questions...

Is the rear axle a 9.75, 10.25 or...?
Can you now use the rear locker in 2wd?
What is the listed towing/payload capacity or the truck? I know it isn't for towing primarily and it has softer springs, but I'm curious what is in the manual.

I want to buy the raptor body minus all their suspension and engine bull****. Then have something done like this..

Burnsville OffRoad - Home

For a 15000$ engine in the Raptor I can have the new Mustang GT 5.0, 2 of them, one fr the front wheels, one for the rear.

But obv I like my ranger. I just have a really hard time convincing the bank "I dont want a new truck, i want to invest 20K into this one but when I sell it those 20K investments will only be worth 2k"
