Will the Ranger fit in an enclosed trailer?

nice man 6.4? if so double check that they did the recall on the cooling system were they install a venturi t we had 8 of them at my last job 7 still developed leaks even after the venturi T was installed keep a eye on where the plastic tanks on the side of the radiator meets the metal thats usually where it will develop a leak
Does this have the Venturi T? - Ford Powerstroke Diesel Forum

also i would look into a cold air intake set up just for the fact that a stock replacement type filter runs 80-90 bucks from a parts house(autozone, napa, carquest, ect..)

That's a nice looking truck, welcome to the world of Superduty. It took a bit of adjustment for me to switch from the Ranger to the F-250, but it should probably be easy for you after driving the F-150 as a DD.

Nice truck Zach, I still am not a fan of 08+ SD's but this is one of the nicer looking ones I have seen.

^ Truer words have never been spoken. I will never get a loan for a vehicle again. I had a loan from when I was 16 to 25 for vehicles. I added up how much money I pissed away doing that just on the interest and lower selling price of the vehicles and I basically through away about 20K. I have been in mega saving mode for the last couple years since I sold my 04 ranger. I have a years salary in the bank, I owe nothing on anything other than my mortgages (I own two houses, one In SD that I rent out, and my old house in MN that I have a renter in, both I am waiting for the market to come around to sell, I owe less than they are worth, but not what I paid for them, plus I pocket $1500 a month off of rent), and I have a car account for vehicle repairs and replacement that is growing every week.

The only problem is, not that I have money; I have a harder time spending it. When I was taking loans out on vehicles, it never mattered to me, if I was spending $700 (insurance and payments) a month on a truck I wanted the newest and the best. Now I just can’t bring myself to spend money on a new truck when my truck is in great shape and does everything I ask of it. My attitude towards money has completely changed. The feeling of financial security is a thousand times better than the feeling of being behind the wheel of a new truck.

Nice John! I hope to have that attitude once this is paid of and just keep it for a long time. It should have the reliability to hold up for a long time compared to a 150.

Iíve never looked into it, but since you are going gooseneck, see if they make a flatbed with living quarters in the front. A lot of my Field trialer buddies have bought these over the years, and I think since you are intending on camping at these off road events having a living quarters would be the catís pajamas.

I used to be that way, till I got a trailer. it is so nice to finish the day and not have to drive, not to mention you can bring your own food and cook. I even keep a seperate wardrobe in the trailer so I don't even have to pack hardly. Plus the bed in the trailer is a tempurpedic!

Last week I was in the middle of nowhere at a field trial, cooking a steak, watching satelite TV and surfing the net on my laptop, only a couple yards away from the breakaway.
