Come on... Run it.. let us know exactly how fast it is and eliminate the speculation.

Yup. Only $10 haha. And I'm betting on your skills. Not much you have to do anyways..
  • Lock the transfer case in 4Hi, and of course rock the truck to make sure the hubs are locked
  • Stage
  • Powerbrake it to light it
  • Let off of the brake and floor the acclerator at the same time, on the last yellow light.
  • And then you're simply holding it to the floor and steering it straight down the track.
  • Oh, and maybe clicking the transfer case into 2wd Hi about half way down the track.
  • Don't break anything
....simple as that

Thats a big no no lol You won't gain anything from that if it even comes out of 4wd.

Basically lock it into 4wd HI, turn off your OD, stage and mash it to the floor.

Ya if you drive I'll pay for your fuel. It shouldn't be that much lol

If you race I would think about racing too. Im just worried about the tranny from 1st to 2nd.

i wouldnt think it would come out of 4wd if you are full throttle any way. or is yours and all others manual shift?

Hmm I may do it let me think about it.

This is from a 03 F250
"My t-case never gets a chance to disengage when the trans is rocketing through gears. Plus I have one hand on the wheel and the other on the nitrous button."

Also you hubs are still locked, so there is not benefit ya know? From what I read the weight of the 4wd is more critical to people then the power train loss

I'll probably do a small thing of boost and 2wd anyways. I need to get my tire fixed too eek

True, but I have only been to 85 MPH once lol. I am sure I will be over 90 MPH with a weird steering? Well see let me see if I can't fix this tire first.

I might have to make a run in 4wd on the road and see what that is like lol

im just going to wing it, its not like you have to be perfect down the track, you can always let out if you feel uncomfortable.

we can just fill the tire before we go.

Ya it should hold. I may put some slime in it anyways just to see what happens.

I don't think my truck leaks oil when its idling but if It does they will DQ me.
