Ranger 1" Body Lift Supplies?

I'm going to be embarking on a one inch body lift. I finally made up my mind and am dead set on it. I know I'm gonna need the body spacers(#?, i forgot), longer bolts. I just did the bumper mod and with a 1" body lift the bumper will have a 1 1/2" gap afterwards. Which is 1/8" more than the gaps on the sides before I lifted the bumper up. No biggie. Same deal with the rear end. I can live with it. The shifters should be fine just an inch lower, correct? I should be okay with all my hoses and lines right? I know gumby and casfz1 have done it, so it's possible. Thanks in advance for helping me with my questions.

Oh yeah, anyone wanna help? lol Maybe I'll drive out to Mich, they seem to be old pro's at bodylifting.

Chad got his one inch blocks from EBAY if I remember correctly. The longer bolts you will have to talk to him and Gumby about. There was nothing that needed to be touched with the one inch other that lifting the bed and body. Come on over to MI we will hook ya up.

yup, blocks(12) and bolts. thats it. no hose extensions, no ground extensions, no fan shroud clearencing, nuthin.
my shifter hit the factory cup holder in the 02. no issue in the 03, but i had an ex.console in there, so no cup holder to hit. chekc you shifter, and clearence as needed.

since this is a sticky now, i pulled out my stock bolts and re-measured for everyone.

been a while, but i think the bolts i used were
(2) 12x1.75x90mm
(2) 12x1.75x110mm
(6) 12x1.75x130mm
(2) 12x1.75x150mm

these numbers are ~30mm longer than the stockers.
dont forget washers. i used 1/2" washers, they are cheaper. fender washers in the bed.

I have about $50.00 in mine between the mounts and the bolts. you can get the body mount off of ebay for $2.00 each.
Here is the link for them on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BODY-...3285QQtcZphoto

When ordering them make sure you buy the ones that are 3"s wide not 2"s. the link above is for the right ones.

as gumby said make sure you get large fender washers for the bed bolts or they will pull through the bed.

They stack on the oem, no different then doing a 3" body lift just smaller mounts.

I want to do this too...I wonder how easy it would be though? I've never done a BL but I have plenty of extra hands!

And is there any way at all to raise the bumpers? Could I order the bumper brackets from a 3" kit and make it work somehow (modify or just use at lowest setting)?

If you lift your truck body even 1", you will have trouble with your transfer case shift lever hitting the bezel and the plastic stiffener inside the leather boot. I'm not saying it's impossible but you would need to make some kind of change. Install a different shift boot, cut up the stock bezel, reduce the shifter throw or do something else to keep them from interfering.

I went to a local nut and bolt store, they cost me somewhere around $20. If you do this make sure you get large fender washers for the bed bolts and smaller wahers for the rest of the bolts.
