Level III

Just a thought, my truck is an FX4. If I add a front skid, alcoas and 31's it's a Level II. Does that mean if you put a lift and 33's on you should have a Level III decal? Just a retarded thought while killing time until I get to go home from work.

Actually the level 2 has a black interior, unique seats, and a 31 spline axle with a better posi unit as well...

Bob's truck warrants Level III consideration. Not sure who else does...

I just hate when people put on badges for ****ts and giggles... having not done the proper mods to warrent it...

and like said above the LVL2 has more the just skids and rims/tires over the Base FX4s (Bilsteins, Interior, Torsion(sp?), rear ls (i know some FX4s dont have that), etc)

OK, I didn't want to start a math war here. How about if you raise it with bigger tires you get a level III and if you chop and drop its an LL II(lower level)? Zach--I think you get your own catagory-- ZB II Highlift Edition

i agree with Mr. Special. unless your truck IS certain package: fx4, xlt, edge, etc... DON'T put on decals pretending it something it isn't. is or in the case of the level III decals people have, pretend your truck is a special truck that was built especially for you. i got into a argument on cardomain when i questioned a sport trac owner why he put "fx4 off road" stickers on his truck. he claimed it was an fx4 off road edition sport trac. i told him ford never made any off road edition fx4 sport tracs. he then started to belittle my ranger, saying it was a ***** boys truck. as i am an adult, i ignored his childish comments.

If you modded your truck so it was the same as a FX4 Level2 and then lifted it, then yes id say without debate you could call it a "Level 3". My point was just to make sure the decal you have truely represents what your truck has done and is not a poser.

Quite a few people i would assume... Say you just bought yourself a 30K fully loaded LVL2. The next day you see some kid in a stock Edge 4x4 and he slapped some LVL2 stickers on the bedsides... thats pretty fking lame. You both know he doesn’t have nearly as capable offroad truck nor the extras you paid for in the lvl2...

Its like taking a base v6 mustang, debadging it, and then slapping on GT badges on the side and rear end.... thats not cool

In the end you can still do it... but I for one will flame the living **** out of the person until it warrants what the decal/emblem/etc says

See I don't lie so if I had Level II decals on my truck I would say its just an XLT.

My friend has a 2000 Camero Z28 T-top 6 speed but he put the SS badging, hood and spoiler because he likes the way it looks. People that don't know much about Cameros think its a SS but if you know Cameros then you would know all SS came with leather and the dash had an SS symbol on it. We don't go around telling people its an SS. So if you don't lie about it then I don't see whats wrong about putting other badges on your car.

Except if its something stupid like a V-TEC sticker on your V6 mustang. LOL

So you laugh when his truck gets stuck in a spot you coasted through. And take a pic to show people when he brags.

If i had a SS and pulled up next you your friend i would dick with him and be the biggest ******* on the planet to him, revving, cutting him off; all because i know my SS is 4x the Z28 and even if he wanted to do something back his SS badges wont help him... its probably just a pet peeve of mine but that kind of **** just annoys the hell out of me

Too bad you wouldn't catch up to it because with the mods it has its runs dead even with the old ZO6 Vett and soon it will be getting an STS Turbo kit and some head and cam work. HAHA

well then youve proved the point that its worthy of the "SS" badging then. We were compairing a nonmodded Z28 with fake SS stuff =p

PS the old c5 Z06 is kinda slow... the new regular C6 is faster =( Hence why you can pick one up for 33K (hell of a great car far that kind of money!)
