X-calibrator 2

Just ordered the SCT X-calibrator 2 from Bamachips. I have only heard good things about Bamachips, and I am very excited to receive and install this. With all of my other mods this should, no doubt, put me over 200 hp at the wheels.

Stock you make about 180hp to the wheel, with the tuner I think you get 20hp and 22tq or so they show on the dyno on the site. To the wheels of course.

He doesn't do an 87 torque tune so he made it 89.

hows the 91 performance and torque differ from each other?
and is the speed limiter removed with the programmer?
would it be better to get the programmer after other mod are installed like headers, exhaust, intake, pullies ect, and then get a dyno tune with the settings?

speed governor is removed.

it would be recommened to get the programmer after the mods u listed, but not totally necesssary, unless u were getting a supercharger.

I don't know aobut the fuel yet, but I would guess that it increases slightly if you don't change your driving. I like how it calibrated my speedo and tachometer. my rpms are finally coinciding with my speeds.

The shifts are a lot firmer. Feels like a shift kit. Especially when you are in the gas. For me the more I'm in the gas the firmer the shifts get. Believe everyone when they say it's the best bang for the buck. This thing is awesome.

Or so I thought...
My GPS still isn't in agreement with my speedo. It seems like the tach and speedo are linked, so when the speed is reading wrong so are the RPMs.

Does somebody want to explain the difference between a tuner and a chip. Which chips are good, (I've heard the SCT XCalibrator 2 is good) and which tuners are good? and exactly what a tuner does?

thanks
