I just placed an order with Underdog-Performance for an underdrive pulley and Gatorback belt. Main reason for his support and answering any question that is asked. Thanks, that is appreciated and the way to get business! The check is in the mail, really! It will be from Netbank and has the order # and my name on the memo section.

Wayne,

Just ordered the Rogue X II and tunes. Thanks, good deal. So I will have the crank pulley, gatorback belt, and Rogue coming as soon as you receive my 2 checks. Mailed the last one thru my bank tonight.

Wayne,

Are you around? I sent you a pm about my goof with the VIN# and just wanted to make sure you have received my correction and now have the right one.

Thanks, Bob

The tensioner pulley, where is it located and how do you adjust it? Only question before tackling this install. Thanks,

When you are standing in front of your truck it's the small pulley just to the right of the pulley that drives your fan and water pump. You DON"T want to remove the pulley just use the 15mm wrench and pull or push and you will see it move to loosen your belt.

Hope that helps.

Adding to toms post, the tensioner pivots. It is not removed.

Thanks, should be able to figure it out now. I appreciate the help found here. On another subject, I see you have a different thermostat installed. What does this do? I don't have an e-fan and planning to see what the tune and pulley does before going further.

Wayne's and Bob's underdrive pullies are identical units from the same manufacturer, for what it's worth.

I put the thermostat in because here in Phoenix it gets 110+ and on weekends I go up into the mountains for hiking or offroading. The temp gage didn't seem to go up but the under hood temperature seemed high. I could open the hood and get BLASTED by the heat. Now it's not like that. I've also read it helps in pinging and I am running a 91 tune.

Is the 91 tune high test in your area? I have ordered the mpg 87, the perf 87, and the perf 93. Will probably just run the 87 though to save money on gas. Going for mpg with this truck. I got a little something else to drive when I need to satisfy my go fast urge!
Did you notice a mpg improvement after doing the tune?

I'm still kind of getting my foot into it. There is a very noticeable difference with the 91 tune. Yes 91 is the highest test we have.
I filled up today before going to the mountains and got 19.889 mpg. That's with testing my 91 tune more than I should have. I was averaging 23 so if it stays the same I'll be happy.

No, my grandson is visiting. We are taking him to the circus tomorrow, then he goes to the other grandparents. Supposed to do the pulley tomorrow afternoon. My tuner is on the way from Wayne, should get it middle of next week. Its actually my wife's truck, but I like to tinker and mod it up a little.

Underdrive pulley and belt installed today. We followed Wayne's directions and had no problems! Drove the truck, feels sop more responsive and hoping for better mpg. Thanks Wayne, now just waiting on my Rogue tune and device to arrive this week and hook it up!
Underdog is great to deal with, don't hesitate to give Wayne a call or e-mail, he answers your questions and its appreciated!

You will notice Wayne with the pulley and Fred with the tune will answer your questions no matter how goofy they seem to be. I'm dropping my hard earned money so I do expect my questions answered and quite a few businesses out there don't seem to realize that.
