Truck is up and running... finally...
This is my explorer 5.0 swapped Mazda B3000. Please keep in mind that we just got the truck up and running naturally aspirated. Its on the stock tune and running out of injector at higher RPMs.

Start up and rev

Ha, you're at least 3x louder than the possible v8 truck that was driving behind you.

Yea, its way too loud, and drones like a crazy! The guy behind me was following in case I broke down, it's a stock 5.4.

The hood doesn't fit. I got mis-matched rubber mounts from the dealer and between that and the 1" intake spacer, the IAC valve hits the hood. I have a fiberglass 2" cowl hood in the mail. Its the same one Camburg sells.

Sweet, looks like you've got an open rear end tho.

Throw a LSD in there, then a Kenne Bell on top of that V8 later down the road if you've got the $

Explorer axle is being rebuilt with a Eaton Truetrac for that, and I'm going remote turbo soon.
