SUMMIT lift kit. What should I do? This looks solid but I really don't know. I want the three inch lift. SHould I do suspension? Definitely putting some 33 BFG's on there. I'm looking to do this all asap and I will be puttin the lift on myself. Shocks? What do you think?

Greatly appreciate the feedback.

BTW, have an 04 Ranger EDGE. Everything is stock on it.

You can fit 33's with that lift. No need for shocks with a body lift. BTW I'm pretty sure there is a summit brand kit that is like $120 or so

My opinion is if all you're going to be doing is driving on the street with an occasional trail ride, go with the body lift. It's cheap, and probably only a little tougher to install then the suspension lift.

If your truck is going to be on the trail a lot (not mud bogging, but some real trails) and you think your suspension needs a little beef up, then go with a suspension.

If you do the body lift, get some gap guards, or make some yourself:

17's and 33's are no different than 15's and 33's?? I don't think there will be any problems

17s and 33s leave you with considerably less sidewall, i think thats what he means.

I thought that was obvious. I took it as the overall size was more

I just did the summit body lift and am very happy with the results. You will fit 33s very easy and it will look really good. Do it asap man
