and a weee bit more lift haha.

edit: why does it say it has a 4 cylinder?

edit again (lol :P): it says 73,000 miles. but when did they start making the odometers that read into the 100k's?

I'd guess it's a v8. Did they even offer 4 cylinders in f150's? I thought the smallest was a big v6?

smallest engine they offered in that generation was the 4.9 i6.

so sick of editing :P haha but the vin on the one page pulls up a pt cruiser.. wtf.

edit again, its a 5.8 btw.

ok enough of the editing, I'm annoying myself haha.

Watch out for the tranny, find out if its been rebuilt if possible. I'd guess its got 173000 miles rather than 73000. If its only 73k thats a hell of a find. I had to throw rod and main bearings and a high volume oil pump in my '88 5.8l with 175k miles. Check the oil pressure to make sure its not dropping.

Other than that it looks like a very nice truck.

Oh btw make sure both tanks work properly!

Check both tanks for sure. I knew a guy that bought an old ford with dual tanks and one was full of diesel! Previous owner had it rigged to fuel his tractors...

if its been in CA its whole life, then no.
If its ever seen winter, then the inner fenders and bedsides will rust up and be no good.

Looks like a nice truck.

If the odometer says 75k, it might only have 75k. Im not sure what year they started going to a 6 digit odometer, but I believe it was well before 92. My 96 Bronco has a 6 digit odometer.

As stated before, watch out with the tranny. Those E40D's tend to go out when the mileage is that high. My Bronco has 150k or so, and i'm nervous of the day its going to go out. Its an expensive repair...few thousand to get it rebuilt.

Also, rust doesn't look to be an issue but just because it doesn't look that way doesn't mean it doesn't have some. Check the fenders with a magnet to see if they've been bondoed. Also check the tailgate. Check the roof...mostly up where the little gutter rails are. Those are the popular spots. If you have time, check floor boards as well.

Other then that, I haven't heard of any serious issues with these trucks. I've heard of issues with fuel pumps. The pumps are inside the tank, so kind of a pain to change.

Keep your wallet stocked to pay for gas. I had a 93 with the 5.8 and you could literally watch that needle fly towards E. I got rid of mine with around 135,000 on the truck. Trans was really tired by then and feeling real sloppy. Had to watch where I parked due to the oil leak. Seized the engine at about 118,000 when something happened with the fuel pressure regulator. Other than that, I actually loved it. I love those body styles. As stated above, check for bondo. I had to get rockers and cab corners redone/sprayed twice.

oh yeah, don't do this.

Price seems high on that one. If it were a 7.3 6k would be a steal.

Looks like a nice truck though.

Yeah thats what I was thinking too. Miles are high for the year and engine.

Ah I don't think I have many blind spots. I'm used to driving big trucks. I drove a big box truck around for a few years at one of my jobs in high school.
