2011 f150 ecoboost?

So from the commercials and from the bit I've heard from people I'm debating trading the truck in on a new 4wd ecoboost. Was wondering if anyone had any experience with them to let me know the pros and cons over the other engines and if it's as good on the road as it is on paper. What mods are people recommending on exhaust etc. What mpg are people realistically getting etc. Just stuff like that thanks. Although this is just most likely a wet dream lol

Check out an F150 forum. There is tons of ecoboost info on there. As far as I know nobody on here has an Ecoboost.

Ah alright. Thanks. My main concern is how much they'd give me for my truck.

I drove one brand new off the lot and it felt awesome but I've been reading that once you put some miles on it a bunch of annoying quirks pop up, also I've heard from my local ford dealer that the 5.0 handles much better towing despite the numbers/magazine tests

I have an F150 with the ecoboost and love it. With a mix of city and highway with just under 1000 miles on the truck I can get about 18.5 mpg. Truck has a ton of power and the sound of those trubos makes it hard to stay out og the gas right now.

An anyone know if the front suspension is the same from 2004 all the way to 2012 or are the two generations different?

I drove one a few months back. It was hard to say no to it.

Had a ton of power, and fully loaded, it was a damn nice truck. I wouldn't think twice about one personally..

My buddy's dad has one... not very happy with it. It gets decent mileage without a trailer... but while towing it's far worse than his old 5.4 was!

Ill be honest, the new eco-boost F-150 sounds pretty awesome, but I wouldnt get it.

Now the new mustang eco-boost, that might be a different story.

If I am going to get a full-size truck, then it will have a full-size engine (nothing smaller than a 5.0)
