im having a problem

hey guys, so im having this problem with my truck. seems like it only acts up when im on the road for a bit and things warm up. it almost feels like my breaks are sticking in the back (drum brakes) i know my hand brake do need new cables and don't fully disengage however; the brakes do not feel hot so i guess they cant be binding that bad. when everything warms up i get almost like a tugging from the back end when im going slow (just letting it roll in gear). when i take a turn it rumbles a lot. Also, the truck dont really roll when put in gear like it should when warm either. Again, when i first start it up everything seems to run pretty good.
its a 2008 ford ranger
i dont feel any play in the wheels, so bearings seems to be ok.
im not in a position to take it to the garage right now, just wondering if anyone has ever had this problem.

thanks

Welcome to the forum

Block front wheel!!!!
Turn on key and shift trans to Neutral
Jack up rear wheels
Spin it/them
Listen for rubbing, there will be some that is normal but should spin easily
Press down brake pedal a few times and check spin again

Now do the same thing after driving for 20min or so, you know how long it takes

Your rear brakes may not be releasing instantly after being used, so they won't heat up but you will feel they are tight
Should also feel a bit of a lower pedal when this happens
