95 xlt help
95 xlt help
95 ford ranger xlt with a 3.0 engine manual with overdrive has started to shake in the last few days. I had the water pump replaced about 3 weeks ago and the truck ran fine.
Then the truck started to slightly shake in idle and sometime when driving yet it’s not unbearable and I’m confused on what is wrong.
there is a gas smell I believe coming from the tailpipes now. I’m wondering if it could be a a bad oil filter, spark plugs, or any other suggestions

Not much to go on
Engine off, check the fan in engine bay to see if it wobbles by moving it with your hand, could be out of balance or loose after water pump change
No, on the oil filter
Could be a misfire from a failing spark plug, how old are they?

about 5 years
Could be do for a change, generally speaking regular spark plugs are good for 40-60k miles, double platinum 80k+, single platinum are same a regular with your spark system, so don't bother
Average driven miles on vehicles is 12k per year, 5 years = 60k
