Camper shell

How bad would an older camper shell look on a newer truck? I know its been done with the rangers but not sure about the F150's. I have found a few for the previous gen F150 for cheap compared to the ones for the newer. I really don't want to spend $1000+ (cheapest I can find) to use it only a few times a year. I would just use it for camping really.

Here is one I found. (Its not the right size just a picture for reference)

well for one if you are just using it a few times a year for camping, I wouldn't worry about it too much. of course youll end up making some big expedition rig out of it...

i think it would look fine anyway though.

Go with an aluminum one if you can find it.
If only using a few times a year they are much lighter than a fiberglass , hence easier to put on/take off.
