Decisions....Decisions.....

I hate decisions, especially hard ones!! As many of you know I sold my 04 Lariat 4x4 Crew and made a little money off of it. I was skeptical about the truck and it just wasnt as nice as I wanted.

I have been on the lookout for one and ran across this 06 Lariat Crew in Dark Toreador Red with gold bottom. 69k miles, tan leather interior, etc...

Compared to my 04, it doesnt have:
  1. full center console
  2. power back glass
  3. subwoofer

I actually like not having the center console up front, it allows for a 6th person and makes the up front more roomier!

The power back glass is not a deal breaker, I used it once in the month that I had the last truck

The subwoofer, is NOT a deal breaker. The sound was fine in the truck although the factory sony sound system with the sub is nice.

It has brand new firestone destination tires, new brakes, and is super clean over all. IF I can get it at the price that I want, I think I'll try to pick it up. The color is the same as the 04 I had, but looks nice on the gold bottom, and is much cleaner and spot fee unlike the 04 (its paint was super rough and spotted). If it was white, id own the truck right now, but I have not found ONE, no not one 06-07 White Lariat for around 21-22k with around 60-70k miles. Pitiful.... I really like this truck and have some pondering to do today!

decisions, decisions...

If you can live without the those things (which doesn't seem too hard to do) Then i'd say go for it man.
The truck itself looks to be in good condition and knowing you, you've probably went over almost every inch. So you'll know what your getting into if you buy it.

It's hard to find those white ones. I looked for a white FX4 for a few months and finally gave up. That truck looks real nice. Is that rear driver rim messed up or is it the pic. Looks like someone let brake dust sit on it too long.

I like the no center console. I wouldn't want one. As for the color and cleaning it, if you think that red is hard just wait until you have a white. You should know from the Fusion. Its a huge pain. I wash my truck and its dirty the next day.

And as far as the brakes go, I would check them yourself. 69K miles seems on the low side to have new brakes. But they could be new.

I'm not a fan of the center consoles either. Thats why I ordered a bench in my ranger. It does come in handy at times when that extra seat is needed.

Truck looks decent. I'm not a fan of that red though.

I dont think Sara's fusion is hard to keep clean, it always looks clean lol.

I think the dealer replaced the brakes before putting on the lot

Im thinking on it. Im not huge on color, but is cleaner and nicer than previous truck

The truck looks great, my parents had white vehicles but they would never stay clean. Any dirt will make the color look off white.

The color would ruin it for me. Maroon is a very difficult color to maintain.

I would love the 6.5' bed! I would trade my truck for that bigger bed in a heart beat.
