F 250: Limited slip questions.

With the recent snow that we had here and needing 4x4 to get around my driveway in all vehicles for the last 2+ weeks, I'd like to change out the open rear on our '05 F250. I don't think that a locker is what I'm looking for, as I am not going to need it much and I'd rather not have to hit a switch to have the ability for both wheels to turn.

Is there an axle that I could look for in junk yards that might have the limited slip already installed like on the Ranger? If so, what would I look for? If I have to buy one, what are some decent/inexpensive brands for the limited slip, and where is a good place to buy from?

Awesome, I didn't know they came with limited slip. Now to find what gear ratio I have and see what's around the local junk yards. Thanks.

I'm still interested in what else is out there after market if anybody can tell me about those.

I'd check out the detroit true trac at completeoffroad.com I think its around $500. Not cheap but they are good units. Your 250 has the 10.5" rearend right?
