Verdict is In

Well after spending the last 3 weeks driving up and down the state
of Texas looking for a ideal truck for my beautiful wife, we have finally
found one.I think my two little girls have spent more time in their car seats than out of them.It happened to be the one that is in our home-town. We will hopefully get this truck next weekend, if it's still there. I'm waiting on some paperwork to come in, and then we'll be good to go. My wife who is awesome already wants and exhaust, intake, leveling kit, and some other goodies. God love her....

Anyway here's the stats:

2007 Ford F150 FX4

Basic FX4 package
Luxury FX4 package

5.4 V8 3v 300hp 360lbs tq
automatic
3.73 limited slip
Tow package
Side steps
Bedliner
PTM Front and rear bumpers
18x7.5 rims
BFG Rugged trail tires
Tinted windows
Leather interior
power adjustable pedals
Power captains chairs

Anyway here's the pics:

That's all folks....hopefully next time I post it will be in my driveway!

i agree, just wait till you put a trailer on it. they like to pull, that 5.4 gets the torque down where you need it.

Shazammmmm! It looks like it just rolled off the assembly line!!! First stop after its in your drive way...a tonneau cover. Keep that bed clean. Very sharp looking ride.

Good Luck with it...

Great looking truck! Level it and put some 35" KM2's on those stock wheels.

yeah the leveling kit, exhaust, intake and tonneau are going to be high on the priority list. The 35's (KM2's for sure) will come later...it's got some good tread on it now, so we'll wait.

From what I've seen on the F150 forums its not a good idea to do an intake unless you get a custom tune to go along with it so the truck doesn't run lean.

Excellent choice! You might of said you bought it for the wife but I have a feeling you'll be logging more miles outta that thing than she will

I've heard that was a concern with the 04-05s, but 06-08 is more tolerable? Don't quote me cuz I don't have an intake but I know I've heard that thrown around out there, worth checkin out.

That may be the case, I never planned on an intake so I didn't pay much attention to it either. I've read it was a concern on all 3V Ford engines. It would definitely be worth looking into though if an intake is on the high priority list.

Yeah its supposed to not effect the 07+ that much but I wouldn't spend my money on it. I've had the Airaid and Volant and its not really worth it IMO.
