^^^Looking at the truck above. I got plenty more pics from the guy and the truck is almost rust free and the little there is, is on the box. Has a 350 and 4 speed in it, new power steering set up, and some other new parts. Total of 5" of lift. It doesn't look like it, but the pain is pretty faded and it has some dents (better than rust) and does need to be restored, but it wouldn't take much work. It's used as a DD in the summer. He is only asking $2700...would you go for it or hold off? He is willing to deliver it (driven), so I know that it runs well and all that fun stuff.

Just curious as to what people think

whats the mileage? are the engine and tranny original?

i've been told 77-78 are the best Ford Truck years as far as axles go. not sure about 79

That's one nice thing I have to say about the Recession, a lot of people who had very nice project cars or restorations had to let them go due to financial stuff, usually for cheap cause they needed to get rid of them quick. Kinda sad for the people, but good for the person with money who was looking to buy.
