When I think of bagged trucks, things like "HANDLES LIKE IT'S ON RAILS" doesn't generally come to mind. And what the fawk is a "5.0 Cobra GT-40" motor???

That is a sweet-*** looking Ranger. A GT-40'd 5.0 Cobra motor is just that. A 5.0/302 V-8 with some GT-40 heads and some valve-work, most likely with a built bottom-end.

I think it looks very classy, I'd like to see the guy be a little more 'professional' in typing his ad, but to each their own. He comes off as a smart-*** even before you talk to him.

Here is the thing. If you have that nice engine, WHERE ARE THE PICS OF IT? I havn't seen that one on the road yet around here. Also, I could have sworn that this Ranger was on Ebay about 5 months ago and it was also located in Fort Lauderdale. It said it was a Ranger XLT and was done by a custom shop that bagged.

As I said on RPS....I LOVE how he talks so much trash about the motor, but all he shows are train horns?!?!?!

Gee, that'll do me a lot of good in the 1/4 mile.

that kinda power for a cobra gt-40??? the GT40 heads/cam intake/cam or the cobra ones? you can't have both. those motors don't have that power at the flywheel.

curt

i say bs!!! the truck looks nice, but even if you bought the truck you wouldn't be able to pass smog in most states. i CA i know that the motor has to be from a same year or newer vehicle and i know that that motor isn't from a 04+

Yeah I call BS untill I see proof. This truck has been on E-bay before and yadda yadda yadda. When it was on E-bay before it was not bagged, you could see the torsion bars. The ride height has not changed sense then so I dont think its bagged, like I said... BS.

if he'd take about 30k off the price tag i'd buy it! haha

i like the black rims myself....lets see...on 04 edge with his options...around 17k....rims/tires=eh.....i'll say 4k....tint at the most is about $200...billet grill around $250...

tally so far:
17k
4k
$200
$250
_________
21,450

that means that in his engine alone is $13550.....i'd want faster than a 12sec 1/4....but my numbers are off, i dunno how much the horns were :D

but its a damn sharp truck, i like the looks.

The newer Cobra 's have superchargers and a 4.6 DHOC engine. This is the old 1993-era 302 pushrod engine...

doesnt look like the bags are deflated though because when the bags or deflated to slam it, the front wheels are usually way off camber.

it could be bagged and just not set up to lay out, especially if those are 20's, they would be tuckin a little if he cut his frame to lay at all. Its a nice lookin truck but i think there is alot of bs on this too.

he'd show a shot of his engine if he really had it, and he'd also take a shot of the bags, and him at high and low ride height etc etc. if he only had one pic... i might believe him. but that he took both angle shots AND went under his truck to get a pic of train horns (WTF?)... little sketchy

and the truck on car domain doesn't have a spoiler like the one on ebay btw..

man.. the winner of that ebay bid got a STEAL!
