Mark that's pretty cool your little 2.3 can net you 35+ MPG... wish I could get my MPG that high!!

And whats weird about that is that this little 2.3 does worse on gas around 30 on the highway keeping it around 65-70, but if i go faster say keep it at 75-80mph and the rpms almost 3k it does even better and goes about 35+ on the highway.

This is why Im not a fan of the 3.0, plus the fact I locked one up without even abusing it and having regular maintanance on it to.

I can say I'm actually happy with the 20 and 24mpg my Sport 4x4 with the 4.0L gets.

^WHAT?

no way does the 4.0 get 24 mpg. i might get 20 highway and thats doing 65-70 at 2k rpms.

oh and i want to see pics of the gt500.:D

Yeah I got 24.something when my buddy and I took a trip down to Georgia. I get 20 and 21 in the city. Now I also get 12 and 12mpg too but that's a different story.

Larmo, to answer your Q about is it worth the money for all that stuff, well to be honest, yes it is! I gained horsepower, MPG and looks overall. Its your truck, and after a while you will appreciate all these little things youve done to it. Plus, who wants to stay stock?! lol

man i need to go put a new 4.0 in my truck. more horsepower AND better mileage. that would be nice. or the motor from the edge would be a nice transplant too.
