Spare Tire

so i got a flat in the right rear lastnight and decided to change it ..

come to my surprise earlier that my spare is bigger than my stock tires by some inches.

so instead of it being easy to change my flat .. i had to take the good one off the front then put the spare
on the front then put the good on one the back ...

the spare looks alot better than the stock .. one becuase its black and two it closes the gap
more between the tire and my fender

im the third owner so i have no idea.. the person who had it before me put smaller tires on it i guess. and the spare still has quite a bit of tread left.. 80% of those little rubber things that are on new tires are still there

the stock number is p205/70r14
the spare number is p225/70r14 M+S

regarding the 2nd pic the tire on the left is the spare and the tire on the right is the stock one

Exact same thing happen to me on the exact same tire. I put my spare tire on, and noticed it was bigger. I want to find bigger tires off an Explorer now because I like the way it looks.

i had wee tires on my truck when i first got it

when i got new tires later that year i had 225's put on....they look MUCH better
they really fill up the wheel well without hitting the fender or looking too big
