Although, to answer the main question... I ordered my 06's from ebay.. They were right at 100 bucks shipped for both tail and corners. I actually ordered them last week.. So they should be here tomorrow!! Haha.

Judging by the fact you don't have a job I can only assume "swapped from a work truck" is Mexican for stole them from a Napa truck.

 

Bake them. Lol. Although, I've had no previous experience doing it.. I've got 4 sets of corners to practice with. There are how-to's on here of how to do it. All your basically doing is getting them a certain temp. and prying them apart. Lol.

funny thing about this post is that the last set is of the Ebayzillions and not of the actual Ford OEM ones :D.

I have a set of those and I have been pleased overall with them.

FWIW, 06+ tails from Ford are pretty reasonably priced. I had to replace mine when the original set was stolen a few months back and they were less than $100 each list price. I have a hookup through my old job and I got them for like ~$60 each. Not bad at all for OEM parts that fit like they should.
