Which key do I have??

When I bought my 03 Edge it came with one key. It works in the drivers door and starts the truck, however it doesnt work in the passenger side door. I have not tried the air bag key hole yet. The key I have has an "S" engraved on it, if thats any help. Also I have manual windows and locks so I think its also safe to assume there is no key FOB to lock/unlock the doors?

sounds like your passanger door may have been replaced at some point......if the key works in the ignition and the drivers door, seems the tumblers inside the passanger door is different.....

there is no valet key for a Ranger....

If it's the original door lock than it's probably just stuck. That happened on my '98 driver's door a few years back. I just sprayed a little penetrating teflon dry-lube into the keyhole and cylinder and then worked the key around. Freed it up in just a few seconds, and I haven't had a problem with it since. It's a good idea to lube the other side while you are at it.

FWIW, I have found that nothing beats PB Blaster's Teflon Dry Lube for things like locks, hinges and other things, such as vinyl window tracks, for instance. Places where you really don't want an oil-based lubricant, for whatever reason.
