1989 Ford Ranger Stereo

Where would I be able to find a radio/CD player that could fit on a 89 ranger? The one I had wouldn't fix it in the console, nor would it plug in properly?

is it a ford radio or an aftermarket one?

my 89 had a single din tape player from the mid 90's in it when i bought it, then i just bought a jvc single din and made circuit city install it for free because my wiring was fu˘ked everywhere on that truck. then it shorted everything out on the drive home turnsignals dashlights everything haha

For real the radio is easy man most of the single din radios you can screw the clips from the side of the stock radio. And if you see the right head unit in this pic under that rubber cover on the back of the radio if your head unit has this screw you can bolt on the support that was on the stock head unit.http://www.timskelton.com/lightning/...pared_rear.jpg
You can get the wiring kit at walmart this is what you need to hook the radio to the stock wiring harnessAmazon.com: Scosche FD02RB 1985-2003 Ford Power 4-Speaker Connector: Electronics The wires will be labled on these kits you cant mess it up on the top or bottom of your head unit it the wiring diagram that will tell you what wire goes where. If you need any help just ask. Also solder the wires if you can it WILL sound better when your done.
