Identity Theft...
As of this morning I'm a victim of identity theft. FML. My identity protection stopped them, but they still took me for every thing i had and then some. I couldn't believe how much damage they did in the hour and half before they got shut down. It doesn't look like they got anything on my credit but until the bank resolves this issue I'm with out any access to fund. They hit my credit card, savings, line of credit and checking. Anything that had access through my bank account. I hate this feeling. I think it would have been easier on me if someone broke into my truck. Has anyone else been a victim?

Yup, I have been a victim as well. Luckily I didn't have as much as I do now. They also took me for everything, and while I did get it back, it took FOREVER! Turned out to be a local person too.
I'm not trying to be a salesman here, but out of curiosity who's your "protection"? I have Life-Lock now, and haven't had any issues yet. Affordable too!

All i had was what the bank offered but that is changing tomorrow. been reading all about identity theft and didn't realize how easy it really is. I don't do a lot online with my cards so i never thought about it. Life lock is who a lot of people have recommended and i think that is the way I'm going

That's terrible dude. Now you got me all nervous just thinking about it. I do a lot of online transactions so I know I'm vulnerable. I've heard that the number one way they get you is someone (like trash guys or a person digging through your trash) gets some piece of information like just your name, number, address, and your bank name and can sell it all on the internet on message boards that ID thefts use for like $10. With just that they can clean you out. They get your social security number and you're f'ed. Like seriously f'ed. Good thing my net-worth is $1k and a truck lol. It's crazy though. Scary crazy.
