Alright, thanks to Justin for his help with photobucket. If there are no pics, it's the operator, not the teacher.

Here's my stock 98 Splash, purchased 12/3/97, by me. The only thing I changed in it was the radio and I went with a Sony Xplode - I pretty much just listen to sports talk all the time anyway. 108,000 miles later, pics taken this past Sunday.

Will be adding projector headlights (black), black out tails, and a smoked 3rd brake light within the next 3 weeks.

Future adds will include single in/dual out exhaust, fog lamps, and new paint job for the roof, and new tires and rims - next year.

Here goes;

nice truck for being almost 10 years old!

Very nice truck! 1998 was the last year of the Splash and the only year they came in that body style, so you have a pretty rare truck!

Thanks to everyone on this board. I have gotten a lot of ideas on how to upgrade the appearance and performance. One change at a time, I only have so much money to spend with one in college right now.

We spent the last 3 years fixing up his Dodge Ramcharger, so it was my Ranger's turn now.

Forgot to mention and this is no commercial. I have used Pinnacle car care products to maintain the exterior over the 10 years. The product I specifically use is called Souveran(carnuba paste wax), and an 8 oz tub of it costs around $80. You should be able to do about 25 - 30 applications with it so it lasts awhile. It is worth it. You can find it online from a lot of places, and it is manufactured by Classic Motoring Accessories out of Tampa.

It looks like you just washed the truck in the middle of a roadway????

Grizzlybear34 03-07-2007 03:13 AM

Dan - Good catch! It is in the middle of a roadway...a road that's been built going to a hockey arena under construction and I passed a sign that said "No tres..." to get there, but it looked like a good spot for a picture. It was just washed, but at my home, the water on the road is from an irrigation sprinkler that had gone off before I got there...
