Ha you should have seen the day I got "fired" I had my *** sideways all the way out of the parking lot. The pavement was dry. I was pretty damn close to hitting a couple cars. For future reference it is a really bad idea to drift in a parking lot full of cars.

lol I've done the same thing, plus bald tires on the rear. Ended up with a scratch and a dent on the bumper and valance.

I was getting 4x4 drifts at work in the snow.
I parallel park on a 1 way street at work. If no one is comming either way at the cross road I get a 4x4 drift going to take a right onto the cross road. sometimes people (like the state plow truck) see me do it because thay are one the road (a safe distance away).
Works best with about an inch of snow.

I think that was done on a dirt road because the front tires are smoking. I did that all the time in my ranger when I was on dirt roads, fun as hell. I dont do it in my new truck though because im afraid I will roll it.
I tired to drift this corner on the way to my house one day after it rained, its the perfect corner to drift. I ended up bringing the rear around to far and by the time I got it back it was to late. I slid off into a cotton field that was just plowed 2 days ago and was soaked from the rain. I ended up in mud up the doors and then some guy passing by pulled me out. After that happened I mainly stuck to doing that stuff on the dirt.

As for parallel parking in slippery conditions...nothing beats FWD.
My truck is in constant 4 wheel drift on dirt roads that are either through a field or lightly wooded area so I can see whats around the corner or that we make sure is clear with radios and quads.
