2.9L MPG....

I just got an '88 ext cab 4x4 with 2.9L and auto tranny. It runs great so what's the best MPG I can expect.

I would think if you can get anywhere near 15mpg your doing good. I only get 10mpg with mine.

between 14 and 16 is about normal for the automatics. my manual 2.9 can get around 18 or 19 depending on how i drive.
